A variety of cultural courses, workshops for expats
Citizen Art Night School now provides foreigners with various courses in English. From April to June this year, Shanghai Public Art Museum is offering 11 courses in English to promote cultural understanding. Led by professional instructors, each course is available for up to 25 students. Classes start in the first week of April. Scan the QR code to register. Deadline is March 17.

Instructor:Ran Ling is a national-level tea art master, tea maker, tea assessor, and scholar specializing in court tea making in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), an intangible cultural heritage item.
The curriculum encompasses fundamental finger techniques, music score interpretation, artistic appreciation, and performance of renowned guqin (a traditional stringed musical instrument) pieces.

Instructor: Yao Maimai holds a bachelor's degree in international standard ballroom dance at China's Communication University.By understanding the composition of brushwork, calligraphy, rules and ink methods, you can learn how to appreciate the classic calligraphy works of past dynasties and complete a piece of calligraphy work independently.
